Wedding bells rang for One Tree Hill stars Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush in Santa Monica on Saturday.

Bush, 22, wore a Vera Wang gown and Murray, 23, donned a custom-made Ralph Lauren tuxedo. The couple celebrated their nuptials with a reception at the oceanfront Hotel Casa Del Mar.

"He and I are both in favor of elegance," Bush told PEOPLE in February about the festivities. "In addition to being elegant, we don't want to be stuffy. We're going to keep it small and intimate."

Murray and Bush got engaged in May, when the actor popped the question in Australia (where he was filming House of Wax, which opens May 6) on a tennis court festooned with 20 bouquets of roses and 500 lit candles spelling out a special message. "It's a really, really important moment for a woman, so I wanted to do what I could do to make it special," Murray said at the time.

The couple met on the set of their WB show and began dating in 2003.
